STYX is excellent!
The Lower Austrian family business shows again how BIO works.
It has almost become a tradition that Wolfgang Stix, Managing Director of STYX Naturcosmetic, embarks on a very special tour towards the end of the year. This year it started in Aschaffenburg GERMANY, where the natural cosmetics pioneer took home two prizes.
1) The wild rose body cream – a new creation from STYX – won the award “BESTES ORGANIC 2023” and
2) The classic, the potato hand balm was happy about “BESTES ORGANIC 2023”. “The fact that we are on the right track was confirmed again this year by these two awards. In the previous years we were able to convince with hemp and poppy seed products, this year it was the wild rose that the readers fell in love with! I am particularly pleased that one of our long-standing top sellers, the potato hand balm, passed the strict evaluation guidelines,” says Wolfgang Stix. “The ratings show what is important to customers: organic products of high quality and the respectful treatment of people, nature and finite resources,” says project manager Franziska Karthaus from bio verlag, Germany’s largest organic publisher. The fact that STYX not only thinks about the content of the high-quality products, but also about the packaging and its sustainable production is shown by the awards that were taken home at the second stop of this tour.
3) The Beauty Forum STARS ARWARD 2022 was awarded the following day in Frankfurt. The company was able to score here with its sustainable philosophy. In the “Sustainable Packaging” category, the compostable film packaging for solid showers and soaps made it to the top of the podium. The jury was impressed by the fact that this film decomposes in household compost in about 15 weeks without leaving any residue.
4) And the “big picture” was also brought in front of the curtain. The company took second place in the
“Sustainability” category. A CO2-neutral production, without the purchase of certificates, which is achieved through an in-house wood chip system, two photovoltaic systems, ECO electricity and complete gas independence, made the Germany tour a successful trip. “Organic and sustainable are not just lip service for us. Sustainability begins in one’s own house, in one’s own country, in one’s own region,” says Wolfgang Stix, Managing Director of STYX Naturcosmetic.
